Epigenetics (Human)
Epigenetics and chromatin structure are thought to impact all cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, senescence, apoptosis, and the DNA-damage response. In collaboration with researchers at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, QIAGEN has developed the Human Epigenetics gene family list, enabling researchers to specifically probe the mechanistic links between chromatin epigenetics and any biological process of interest. This relatively small targeted set of siRNAs targeting 189 human genes can be screened in a rapid and cost-effective manner in a wide-range of primary and transformed human cell types.
